Get Featured in Art Saves Lives Magazine
With the intention of giving a voice to the unheard, the nonprofit art organization Art Saves Lives International (ASLI) www.artsaveslivesinternational.com, provides free inspirational and inclusive arts projects to marginalized artists. “We believe this world can be enriched and given a voice through art. We aim to utilize art as a medium to engage, educate and express.”
Art Saves Lives publishes a quarterly online publication with a different topic to focus on every three months. For ISSUE 4 ASLI will focus on: “Discrimination, Privilege and Stigmatisation”. On its website it emphasizes, “Discrimination is happening all over the world against different categories of people, especially minority groups. People are being stigmatized for being themselves and privilege in many forms is stunting our progression as a species.”
ASLI is seeking artists and creatives from all disciplines from all over the world to be featured in its magazine, including visual artists, photographers, musicians, singers, dancers, performance artists, poets, spoken word artists, film and documentary makers, actors, crafters, cartoonists and animators, graphic designers, bloggers, vloggers, and more.
You are invited to submit work on one of the following issues: Racism; Xenophobia, Homophobia, Sexism, Ableism, Ageism, and any other forms of prejudice, privilege and stigma that you have faced.
Submission deadline January 2, 2017
