Samples of 125-word Statements

The Beginning, oil on panel, 13″ x 17″. This painting was inspired by the Colorado River high up in the Rocky Mountains. It received an award in the Ridgewood Art Center Annual juried exhibition in 2023.
The Beginning, oil on panel, 13″ x 17″.

Susan Jarecky creates breathtaking, awe-inspiring paintings that are imbued with extraordinary luminosity. She extols the many sublime virtues of the American West and shares her reverence for the natural world.

Her spiritually uplifting paintings may be defined as visual poetry. She captures reflected colors of water ripples, transient effects of light, and tactile surface patterns that exude feelings of enlightenment, harmony and balance.

Susan’s paintings have powerful healing qualities. Her sun-kissed, flowing brooks and waterfalls immediately refresh and restore us. Her meandering paths and undulating hills take us to new expansive horizons. She delivers hope to us with majestic mountains and trees stretching their graceful limbs into clear blue skies. She comforts and calms us with her views of cattle grazing in fields beside glorious iconic red barns.

Dr. Michael Durst, Spiritual Awakening, acrylic on canvas, 23.4″ x 33.1″
Dr. Michael Durst, Spiritual Awakening, acrylic on canvas, 23.4″ x 33.1″

Dr. Michael Durst is an artistic messenger of elation, hope, and wellbeing. He combines his masterful skills in color with his proficiency for conveying his love for humanity, nature, and all living creatures.  These admirable artistic and personal attributes lay the foundation for his visionary imagination to flourish. Michael’s capacity to express the healing power of art shines through his paintings.

As we enter Michael’s resplendent world of “Heartscape Paintings” we encounter a unique and diverse range of awe-inspiring subjects — from landscapes, wildlife, figures and portraits to abstractions. His dreamlike perspective and deft use of symbolism and metaphysical elements such as sacred geometry reveal a profound insight into the states of consciousness.

Michael’s transcendent painting “Spiritual Awakening” is a quintessential expression of enlightenment.

Gratitude, oil on gallery wrapped canvas, 36” x 36”.
Steevie Jane Parks, Gratitude, oil on gallery wrapped canvas, 36” x 36”.

Steevie Jane Parks creates awe-inspiring, multi-layered abstract paintings. She is highly proficient in applying the dynamics of color theory and integrates a range of hues with organic and curvilinear elements. Her art combines her many artistic skills with intuition and engages viewers visually and viscerally.

The artist’s background in Clinical Psychology contributes to her profound insight into the science of color and the healing potential it has on our minds and emotions.

Steevie deftly composes varying shapes and forms that evoke spontaneity and sensations of continuity, harmony, and infinite possibilities. She arouses feelings of interconnectedness through rhythmic undulations and circular motifs. Her use of overlapping spatial planes envelop both the microcosm and macrocosm. Tactile brushwork further increases depth and dimension.
