and a new video on my YouTube channel
“The Healing Power of Art: Love, Peace, Unity & Hope” is an online exhibition that I had the pleasure of curating on The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS website, an initiative of Manhattan Arts International, NYC, NY. It features 57 contemporary artists and 15 Master artists — whose art conveys many different aspects of the positive aspirations contained in the exhibition title. The exhibition runs until January 31, 2024.

NOVEMBER 29 ~ Advice About Entering Juried Art Competitions
On Monday, November 27, 2023 I published a new online exhibition “The Healing Power of Art: Love, Peace, Unity & Hope” on my website The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS. The exhibitions I curate attract the best artists, so the competition is high. The process takes hundreds of hours and I take it very seriously. As part of my curatorial process, I carefully consider all artists’ jpeg entries and read their artist’s statements. A requirement is entrants must have their own art websites. I visit them to determine if they exercise the best professional standards and have developed a high quality body of artwork. My criteria is no different than the standards used by curators from many top galleries and museums.
This week I offer some advice and share my experiences in a few articles to help you achieve success when entering juried art competitions.
